Hypercar design meets high-performance electric bike. The new McLaren Extreme 250 applies McLaren’s automotive legacy to an aggressive and uncompromising full suspension eMTB platform.
The full carbon fibre frame was designed in-house by McLaren over more than 1,500 engineering hours, a level of craftsmanship rarely seen outside the high-performance automotive world.
The McLaren Extreme 250’s beating heart is a wickedly powerful 250W mid-drive motor that produces 121Nm of torque. Sporting a smaller motor than its 600W sibling, the Extreme 250 places greater emphasis on battery life over outright power — it's a bike for longer range adventures. That 250w power unit is fueled by a 36V, 15Ah (540Wh) battery hidden inside the frame.
Rounding out the build is the cutting-edge SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission and SRAM G2 RE 4-piston brakes. A capable full suspension design, the 160mm RockShox Lyric Rush RC fork and 145mm RockShox RS Deluxe Select+ shock roll on a mixed-wheel setup for ultimate maneuverability and control.
